Discussion

Found quite a few of these feathers on my 4th Floor balcony this morning. Looks like there was a scuffle (but not possible with a cat or ground based predator, being on the 4th floor). Don't usually see birds with such yellow feathers around here in such an urban area. Wondering what bird this could be from, and hoping it's okay, wherever it ended up...

If it was in Europe!!? male, tail feathers

Not greenfinch! These were found in america, and the chance of a domestic greenfinch escaping from a cage and ending up in this exact person’s garden was... very, very small
